It is a journey of a man who is common man but People of Meluha are believing him as God called Shiva. they believes that one shiva from Mansarovar will come and make them free from evil who will be indetified by his colour of throat. they call him "Nilkanth".
The feelings and the emotions that this book triggers and especially the sacrifices, the pain that shiva goes through , the love of shiva and sati. Shiva being a perfect protagonist with incredible versatility and extremely kind soul, dedicated warrior and paasionate lover, adds up to the good side of the book and captivates the reader very much.
writer has used geographical accuracy and chronology is very interesting. description of all myth charecter and his artistic vision in it is fantastic. here i would quote some direct lines from novel...

The freedom and Feelings are two opposites how can one choose one of it is very difficult.That made this book thriller and imaginative.
